Nosema!

My honey bees are sick. It looks like they puked in the snow. I treated them with Fumiligian-B, but they are not taking in the syrup. They have a lot of honey from last fall.

March 11 - I opened up the hive and cleaned out the dead bees and reversed the hive.

March 16 - I moved the hive forward a foot and fixed the broken frames and gave the bees new hive bodies. They seem to be doing better then earlier this week. Now it's wait and see.

April 14, 2007 installed a 3 lb package of Italian Honey Bees.
May 26 - added another deep hive chamber.
June 20 - added a super to the hive
September 7 - extracted honey, about 25 lbs.
September 15 - fed Fumiligian, bees are taking in lots of syrup.
November 6 - Bees are starting to cluster.
